SPEAK WHAT YOU BELIEVE

SPEAK WHAT YOU BELIEVE

We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;” 2 Corinthians 4:13 (KJV)

Every believer has the spirit of faith. God gave you the spirit of faith the day you got born again. So when the enemy begins to tell you that it is not working, open your mouth and speak what you believe. That is how to hold fast to your profession. Don’t let him have the final say because he will surely speak to you. Speak up! Find the promise, pray the promise, and declare it before the devil. And keep on saying it.

Every time the devil speaks, get up and speak also. If he speaks once when you are sleeping or lying down, get up and say it seven times against one of his words. You must learn to speak back! We are used to speaking to God in prayers. We must also learn to speak back to the devil whenever he comes to tell us the negatives.

Secondly, speak to things and situations. Hold fast! Don’t let the devil have the last say in your life, in your health, in your marriage or in your business. It is not enough to say you believe without opening your mouth. You must open your mouth and speak out what you believe. The book of 2Corinthians 4:16 (KJV) says: “…though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.” When it looks as though everything around you is falling apart, don’t worry, you are getting stronger inside. It is the enemy that is trying to make you look weak by the things he is throwing at you. Those things the enemy is throwing at you are light afflictions which are but for a moment. It is just for a season in your life that will come and go. And they are working for you, a far exceeding weight of glory.
