SIN MAKES YOU TO STRUGGLE

“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” (Romans 5:12 KJV)

When Adam sinned it brought dire consequences upon the entire human race. It took the sacrifice of the Son of God, Jesus, on the cross, to undo the damage that sin did to mankind in the Garden of Eden. When Adam sinned, man lost his position in Christ, but when Jesus came, He restored man to the place of glory. Now, if you understand who you are in Christ, sin will not be an issue. A believer cannot feel comfortable in sin. Will you miss it, yes, but when you do, you quickly run back to your Father, knowing that sin is a foreigner to you. The moment the Holy Spirit convicts you, you make a U-turn back to God.

Any believer, who tries to live in sin will struggle. You know why? Take an example of a fish. No matter how deep the water is, a fish is not scared, it is its natural habitat, but bring the fish out of water, and it will struggle till it dies, if it is not returned to the water on time. Why will the fish die outside water, it is because it is no more in its natural habitat. The same with the believer.

When you are out of your natural habitat you will struggle. Your natural habitat is in Christ. When you are in Christ, sin cannot have dominion over you. If a believer attempts to live in sin, he enters into a life of struggle, like the fish outside water. The struggle of mankind is as a result of the loss of our natural habitat. Limitation came as a result of mankind reducing from the position he occupied originally. But thank God for Jesus, the agenda of God for man never stopped. In Christ we are reconciled back to Him. In Christ, God’s design for a life of overflow cannot be aborted. Therefore, your destiny will not be aborted.
