SHUT UP THE DEVIL
“And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled:…” – Revelations 20:1-3 (KJV)
The devil is a defeated foe! He has been cast into the bottomless pit and shut up. So why should you allow him to run roughshod over you? It is time to enforce his defeat and claim the victory that Jesus paid for you to have. No area of your life is left out! This is your moment to possess your possession. Every wind of adversity raised to derail you from attaining your God-ordained destiny is silenced.
The book of Colossians 2:15 tells us again very clearly that the devil has been defeated; “He defeated the rulers and powers of the spiritual world. With the cross he won the victory over them and led them away as defeated and powerless prisoners for the whole world to see.” (ERV)
What lie has the devil told you? What is the accusation he is bringing against you? What is that limit he is placing on your life? By the reason of the finished work of Christ, he has no right and no authority to do so. Rise and shut him up! Enforce his defeat and claim your victory. Poverty is not your portion! Barrenness is not your portion! Sickness is not your portion! Therefore, stop tolerating these things! Stop putting up with them! You are called to live an abundant and glorious life.
As believers in Christ, we don’t fight for victory but from a place of victory. Therefore, enforce your victory based on the finished works. Arise and begin to shut the devil up. Wherever you are seeing his operations, open your mouth and exercise your God-given dominion. Silence the voice of condemnation, accusation, and limitation. Declare an end to the maneuvers and operations of the enemy. I believe God with you that you shall surely testify. Long-standing issues will receive solutions. Doors shall be opened unto you. And you will possess your possessions.
