RULE IN YOUR WORLD
“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” John 1:12 KJV.
Do you know that the Old Testament saints functioned on partial righteousness? They were not born again. Their sins were only covered and that was why they kept on slaughtering goats and bulls every year in order to go into the presence of God. But in your own case, by one offering, Jesus has perfected forever those who are sanctified. You can come any day anytime and anywhere. In your restroom, in your car, in your bedroom and in your kitchen. Anywhere you are, you can call him Father. Why is this so? Simply because you are a son. You are not trying to get righteousness. You are the righteousness of God. He has made you the righteousness of God in Christ.
Jesus looked at the storm and said: “Peace, be still” (Mark 4:39 KJV). He rebuked the storm. While others were bailing out water, He was asleep in the storm. He was established in His righteousness. He knew the storm could not destroy Him. I found out in scripture that the believer can never fail. Yes, the believer can never fail. You must put that in your mind. Why is this so? It is so by the reason of righteousness. Now I know why Paul says sin shall not have dominion over the believer (Romans 6:14). Not even sin can make me fail.
Jesus was never confused. He was not intimidated by lack. It was in the desert that he said to his disciples, give them to eat. In the desert, people were fed and there were 12 baskets left over. He knew what to do at every given time. He was able to deal with the demoniac. Everyone was running from him but when he saw Jesus he fell on his knees and worshipped. You have been given the power to rule over the affairs of life. Go into your world and rule. Go into the New Year full of confidence. Don’t be afraid and don’t give in to despair. 2022 will bring great tidings your way and your testimonies will be noised abroad in Jesus’ name.
