RIGHTEOUSNESS IS A PRICELESS GIFT

RIGHTEOUSNESS IS A PRICELESS GIFT

“For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.” Romans 5:19 (KJV)

We are the righteousness of God because of Jesus. If you have made Jesus the Lord of your life, then you can say it boldly to yourself: “I am righteous”! That is what Satan doesn’t want to hear. The devil hates to hear that you are righteous and that you have a right standing with God.

As believers, we stand before God as if sin does not exist; without any sense of guilt, without shame, without any sense of inferiority, and condemnation. We stand with an assurance that we can enter boldly into the throne of grace. We stand with an assurance that when we pray it shall be answered. We stand with an assurance that when we rebuke the devil, he has no choice but to obey. We stand knowing that we are always right before God. How? Because of Jesus!

The book of 2 Corinthians 5:17 says: “Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things have become new.” Then verse 19 says: “to wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and have committed unto us the word of reconciliation”. Jesus Christ came and paid the supreme price. What seemed like a defeat for mankind became the greatest victory.

Beloved, all the records that were against you; which the devil used to accuse you had been nailed to the cross. That way, He disarmed principalities, rulers, and authorities. He shamed them publicly by His victory over them on the cross. That is why any accusation against you by the devil cannot stand. He has no right because you have been discharged, you have been acquitted, the case is closed, and it can never be appealed.
