RENEW YOUR COMMITMENT
“And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.” Genesis 8:21 (KJV)
It is a new season you’ve got to re-evaluate your commitments. You’ve got to re-evaluate your giving life. You’ve got to re-evaluate your tithing. You cannot continue the way you have been doing things. You cannot be doing business as usual and claiming God’s blessings, it will be tantamount to an empty declaration. How involved are you on the Altar of God? How involved are you in prayers, in studying the word, in fasting, in commitment, in fellowship, in tithing, and seed faith?
Do you want to know how Noah rebuilt with speed? The secret is in our today’s Bible passage. Speaking further, God said: “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.” (Genesis 8:22 KJV). There will be no more devastation once you plug into principles and wisdom which can never be violated. You have to get connected to it yourself and your world will no longer be destroyed.
“And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hands are they delivered.” (Genesis 9:1-2 KJV)
In essence, God was saying: Noah, you will produce, and you are not going to be stranded. Though you don’t have a template. Your progress begins with your commitment to God. You must prioritize God in every area of your life.
