RECEIVE WHAT THE LORD HAS PROVIDED

RECEIVE WHAT THE LORD HAS PROVIDED

“He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them
gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name”. John 1:11-
12 (KJV)

When you receive Jesus, you are given the power to become the sons of God. To those who
received Jesus, He gave the power to receive healing, the power to prosper, and the power to
overcome challenges in life. God wants you to rest in His finished works. Stop this doing
mode the devil has put you in. What must I do to be blessed? What must I do to prosper?
What must I do to live? The result is that when you discover you cannot do it, you get
frustrated and walk away defeated.

There is this difficulty in simply accepting that you are blessed. Why is it so difficult for you
to accept what has been done? It is simply stretching your hand and taking what has been
provided. The book of Matthew 22:1 tells us that many were invited to the wedding of the
king’s son. He had prepared his banquet, but they would not come. He sent forth other
servants to inform those invited that dinner was ready. But they made light of it and went
their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise. All things were ready, but the guests
chose to do something else. They rejected the offer because they had to do something. What
they were looking for was on the table. All that was required was for them to come and eat.

According to the king, the wedding is ready, but those invited are unworthy to attend. What
made them unworthy? They were unworthy simply because they refused to receive what had
been provided for them. The Kingdom provides everything. The guests only had to receive it.
That is all the believer is called to do. No toiling! Just sit down and receive. Today, I urge you
to receive what the Lord has provided.
