PLAY YOUR PART WELL

PLAY YOUR PART WELL

“From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.” Ephesians 4:16 (KJV)

Whatever your gift is, use it well. If it is singing, sing well. If it is handling the camera, handle it well. If it is ushering, usher well. If you are a greeter, greet well. If you are in charge of the toilet, take care of it well and ensure that it is always clean. If it is catering, ensure that whoever tastes your meal is full of joy and gratitude. In whichever area you serve, know that God is an excellent God, so put in your best. Everyone is important, treat them so.

This is what makes the body strong. If you get into this scripture, you will see that God has brought us together and connected us together so that no one amongst us will lack, no one amongst us will fall and no one amongst us will ask where is our God? For if one suffers everyone suffers.

The health of the church is predicated on each part playing its role. To walk in divine health, to walk in prosperity, to walk in abundance, to overcome the satanic attack, and to overcome all kinds of issues of life that we face right now requires the involvement of each part. Not making excuses but playing your role excellently well.

Today, take a moment to reflect and ask yourself: “Have I really been an instrument in advancing the kingdom of God? Have I really been able to use God’s deposit in my life”? As for me, I don’t want to face Jesus at the end of the age and He tells me that I did not fulfill the purpose for which He called me. My greatest desire is to hear from His mouth. “Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things… enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.” (Matthew 25:23 KJV)

Life is about giving, celebrating others, and thinking about who you can impact for good. Life is about raising the weak and strengthening those who have been trodden down. Life is about saying “who can I touch”.
