OPERATING AS AN OVERCOMER

OPERATING AS AN OVERCOMER

“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” 1 John 4:4 (KJV)

The first way to operate as an overcomer is to remain connected to the word of God. Secondly, you must know your rights in Christ. Don’t remain a babe in Christ. Take a quality decision to grow in the things of the spirit. Galatians 4: 1 – 2 says ‘’Now I say, that the heir, as long as he is a child differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all, but is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father…” Did you see that? Beloved, it is not enough to come to church, sing, dance and hi-five every person. As good as all that is, you must develop spiritual muscles because if you don’t, the devil can still pluck out your eyes. That will not be your portion in Jesus name.

Another important decision you must take is to always sit at the feet of the Master and stay connected. As we climax the age, evil will increase and so you cannot afford to toy with your Christian experience. The devil, like a roaring lion, is still in the business of looking for those whom he may devour so don’t choose the services to attend. When you skip services for any and every reason, you will not be fully equipped to function like you are supposed to. The devil likes it when you don’t load yourself with the word because he knows that you can only function based on the amount of revelation that you have. When you refuse to feed on the word, you will function like a servant even though you are a son.

Understand that if you take advantage of your position in Christ, you will always overcome. So when next the enemy comes around, remind him that you are a product of grace and a joint heir with Christ.
