ONLY THE WORD IS A SURE ANCHOR 

 “We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:” 2 Peter 1:19 (KJV)

 

God is a God of purpose, plan, design, and objectivity. There is no accident with Him. Even with whatever is happening in the world today, He is not taken unawares. Our God is a pre-sent help at every time of need. He has been sent ahead to ensure the needs are met ever before the need arises. I want you to know that there is no challenge in this life that God has not got an answer for. So, the devil is already too late. He is too late in your life. And I know that you will come out of every difficult situation stronger, better, and bigger.

 

One of the things that I will challenge you to do is that you must give time to the Word. Let your heart be opened always, to receive the Word of God. It is only the Word that is infallible, errorless, impregnable, and authoritative. God works through His Word. Remember that He spoke the universe into existence by the Word of mouth. And He upholds all things in the universe by the Word of His power.

 

Only the word of God is a sure anchor today. Nothing is stable. When you stand on the Word of God, you are sure to come out victorious. Therefore, you must consciously make out time for God’s Word. You can get tapes, CDs, and DVDs of messages preached by anointed men of God, listen to them because they will help you to build up yourself in the Word.

 

God is set to do you good. And it will manifest as you give quality attention to His Word. I encourage you to feed on the Word of God. Leverage on it at all times because as a man thinketh in his heart, so he is. What you think is what you will produce. You cannot give out what you don’t have inside you. For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.
