NOW WE ARE IN THE GLORY
“For the Lord God is a sun and shield: The Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly”. Psalm 84:11 KJV
Grace is an unmerited favour. Grace and mercy always work together. Thou shalt arise and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come. (Psalm 102:13 KJV). You deserve judgment, but God says; No! I will not judge you! Rather I will show you mercy. According to the Word of God; “…. the prophets…prophesied of the grace that should come unto you.”(1Peter 1:10 KJV). They kept searching and wondering! Who are the people that will enjoy the glory that shall follow the suffering of Christ? They prophesied beforehand the suffering of Christ and the glory that should follow. And now we are in glory! When you receive Christ into your life, you enter that glory.
Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us, they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into. (1 Peter 1:12 KJV). It is as if God said to them sorry this is not for you. But praise God it is for us. Beloved, what God did in your life through salvation is so robust and rich that the angels and the prophets of old were looking into it and saying who are these people. You see, all they ever knew about serving God was to offer animal sacrifice daily in other to approach His throne.
Yet, they prophesied that there shall come a specie on earth that God is going to look at through the eye of grace. God is not going to require that they sacrifice animals. He won’t give them laws and ordinances. He will do everything for them. All they shall need to do is to believe. God said they are a new species of being that never existed before. They are new creations. And that is who you are! Halleluyah!!! We are that favoured specie.
