NOTHING IS TOO HARD FOR GOD
“Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.” Genesis 18:14 KJV
When God said He was going to bless Abraham, he laughed at God. In Genesis chapter 18 when the angels came to Abraham’s house to bless him, Sarah was eavesdropping behind closed doors. And she laughed because she couldn’t see how what God was saying to Abraham could ever manifest. ‘How can that be?’ She thought.
You see, when you look at that account, there was no reason why God should bless them because they had broken every law. They broke the law of faith! They doubted God and they expressed no respect for God. Up till that time, Abraham had only known God as Creator. That was all he knew. It was, therefore, natural for Abraham to look at himself and his wife and say, ‘It’s not possible, let’s make another plan.’ But God is merciful.
As humans, it is easy to think that we have come to the end of the road. But I have found out that every time we come to the end of the road, God reveals another side of Him. God is too big to be limited by any situation. In the time of Abraham and in our time, He is still ‘I Am.’
Don’t doubt His Word! Don’t begin to reason how it will work out. Leave it to the Almighty God. There is nothing too hard for Him to handle. He said to Abraham, “you have known me as God that put things in place, but there is another name by which you have not known me.” When Abraham caught the revelation of the other name, that was when he stopped doubting. That was when the book of Romans Chapter 4 was written. God said to Abraham: “I called you. You didn’t call yourself! You were doing your thing. But now, I would show you another revelation of me.”
