NO MORE CONDEMNATION

NO MORE CONDEMNATION

“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit”.
Romans 8:1 KJV

I often wonder why a believer would put himself or herself under condemnation. Sometimes, I hear things like: “Oh Brother Mike, you don’t know the mistake I made before I came to church. You won’t understand until I tell you what I have done” Our scripture today says, “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit”. One of the greatest gifts that the Father gave to us is the gift of no condemnation. The Father has not condemned me, rather He has loved me with an everlasting love. Even when you blew it, He did not abandon you; because if He abandons you, you will not be able to find your way out of the mess.

Put on your imagination!  Someone in darkness cannot see his way out. It is like somebody who is drowning and the one who is supposed to rescue him says: “Sort yourself out”. Your guess is as good as mine. The person would drown completely. A person drowning needs help and God is an ever present help in time of trouble. So, even when you blow it, the Father does not abandon you, because you can only see your way when He is there as your light.

One of the lies of the devil is to tell you that because you were angry with your wife or you quarreled with your brother, God would not answer your prayer. He wants to put you under condemnation and if you don’t know the scriptures, you will believe him. And when you raise up your hands to worship, your hands would start coming down gradually. But you already know that the devil is a liar. There is no truth in him. The truth is that God never condemns His own. He is always there to help you out. He has promised never to leave you nor forsake you.
