NO JESUS NO LIFE

“Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)” Ephesians 2:5 (KJV)

You always need to arm yourself with the truth so that your faith can be grounded. You are not a Christian simply because you have a car. What makes you a Christian is not because you have a house or you have a husband or wife. Unbelievers also have cars, they have houses, and they have wives. The reason you are Christian is to be like Christ. If I can get you to be like Christ, I have succeeded. If I can get you to be like Christ here on earth, then I have fulfilled my mission as God’s servant.

Our bible text says we were dead because of our sin. This means that everyone without Christ is a dead person. Anyone who has not made Christ the love of his life and the center of his life is dead. It doesn’t matter how much that person is celebrated in society, he is dead. Death is separation from God. When you are not connected back to God through what Jesus did on your behalf, you are dead. You can be in church and be called a knight; it doesn’t matter. You are still dead. And there is nothing like going to purgatory when you die or that they’ll put you in reserve and then they will later bring you to heaven, it does not happen. It is here when you are alive that you have to make a decision. A dead man does not decide anything! Outside Christ, you are dead. You may be walking about; you are just waiting for when you will finally fall off. That is why you must never delay or tarry when you have the opportunity. Never wait! Whatever you can do, do it now.

If you have to be saved, be saved now. If you have to witness, witness now. If you have to give, give now. There is no time for delay. Jesus Christ tells us: “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.” (John 9:4 KJV)
