NO HOPELESS SITUATION IN CHRIST

NO HOPELESS SITUATION IN CHRIST

“For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve, saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee. Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.” Acts 27:23-25 (KJV)

Apostle Paul spoke in the above passage at such a time when all hope that they should be saved had been taken away. They were in a hopeless situation. It was a no-way-out situation. They had accepted their conditions that they were going to die. They had tried to empty the ship to see if peradventure they will be able to control the ship. But they couldn’t control it because they didn’t even know where they were. They had lost direction. No hope! No way out! They were perplexed! And they had no answer.

The question is when you come to a situation like the one experienced by Apostle Paul and the inmates of the ship, what do you do? This question is pertinent because we live in a world that does not give anybody any hope. We live in a world where everything is falling apart and spiraling downwards. We live in a world where people are breaking covenants with ease and the biggest dog eats the smallest dog.

Beloved, you must realize that an encounter with Jesus is a game-changer in life. When Jesus comes into your life, you are no longer like every other person. The fact that you look like every other person on the street does not mean that you are like them. You are supernatural! And God expects you to operate on a different platform. You are not supposed to function the way every other person functions. You have been raised into a higher platform. That is why you cannot be stranded.

Just when it looked as if all hope was lost, God showed up. And supernaturally, Paul and everyone in the ship was preserved. God will show up for you! No situation is hopeless for the believer.
