NO DISAPPOINTMENT FOR YOU

NO DISAPPOINTMENT FOR YOU

“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” Romans 5:5 KJV

Beloved, I don’t know what you are believing God for but one thing I’m sure of is that you will not be disappointed. This is because God loves you. The New Living Translation paints a clearer picture for us. It says: “And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with His love.” Imagine the kind of love that God has for you: irrepressible, unconditional, irrevocable, iron-clad and blood-bought love that gives you the assurance that your hope in Him will not turn to disappointment. In other words, you can stake your life on it.

The scripture declares in Romans 8:32: “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? (KJV)” As He has freely given you all things, how can you be disappointed? All things are yours!  You may not have seen the physical manifestation of your desires yet, but I have a reassuring word from God for you. You will not be disappointed! Despite the lies of the enemy, don’t give in. Rather, praise God like never before because you know that His Word will not fall to the ground unfulfilled.  That which He has promised, He is able to perform. Let God be true, but let every man be a liar (Rom. 3:3-4).

Refuse to pay attention to the pictures the enemy is painting. Press into praise! This is not the time to talk carelessly or change your confession. Choose to praise God because you know that you will not see shame. It is your responsibility to cast down every imagination, and every thought that tries to exalt itself above the knowledge of God (2 Corinthians 10:5). Don’t give it any room to take root and grow in your life.  Counter it with the word of God.
