MINISTRY BEGINS IN YOUR HOUSE

MINISTRY BEGINS IN YOUR HOUSE

‘’And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.’’ Genesis 7:7 KJV

The only sane people who believed Noah’s message were his wife, his children and the wives of his children. What does that tell us? Ministry begins in your house! You want to show off outside but what of your home? Don’t tell me how big you are when you cannot minister to your children. You cannot minister to your wife. You say she is a demon. If she has a demon, then cast out the demon and live with her.

A lot of people are quick in quitting for little things. I don’t know what is wrong with this generation. This generation is so restless. You cannot endure anything! What is wrong with you? You have been married for only 6 months and you don’t want again. It is too early to quit. You are still trying to understand yourselves. Even if you are identical twins, it takes time to understand each other. Marriage doesn’t work by default. You must work it out.

There are some people who will allow their children to run wild. They will say this is a different generation. Child of God, the Bible is evergreen. It is not old school. It is God’s word and our God never grows old. How are you doing with your family members? How are you training your children? A child will behave anyhow, and parents are just watching. You are not called to be their friend; you are called to parent them. There will come a time they will be your friend but at a certain time, you are their parents.  Play your parenting roles. If you don’t, you will cry and regret. The scripture says: “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6 KJV).

Discipline your child! Let him know there are boundaries that he cannot cross.
