MAXIMIZE THE POWER OF YOUR TONGUE

MAXIMIZE THE POWER OF YOUR TONGUE

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof”. Proverbs 18:21 (KJV)

The only person that decides your fate is you. If you speak well so it is. If you confess starvation, then you have it. If you speak and confess starvation over your life, God will not overrule it because you have what you say. The power of what you say cannot be overemphasized. When the world is speaking its language, learn to speak from heaven because you are from above and you are above all. When you learn to speak God’s Word over your situation, you are superimposing what God has said over every contrary situation in your life. When you do this, the lesser power is bound to bow.

Beloved, when we confess God’s promises, it is not a play on words. As you make these confessions, you are speaking life to yourself. And your situation is obligated to change for the better. Always remember that the strategy of the devil is to put you under extreme pressure so that you say the wrong things. This is the point where you are tempted to exchange the symptom for the real thing. At this point, the devil intensifies the symptom to make you confess negatively and of course whatever you confess you receive. So, when next he backs you to the wall and applies pressure, rather than confess negatively, choose to praise the Lord. Keep speaking and keep thanking Him until you see the result. And I guarantee you that it will not tarry.

I challenge you today to always maximize the power of your tongue. Don’t keep your mouth shut. Never let the devil have the last say in your life. God created all things by the power of His Word, and He has put all things at your disposal. The power is now in your hands. Don’t allow the devil to intimidate you and shut you up. Speak over every situation and circumstance. Speak into your world and you will have what you say.
