MAKE THANKSGIVING A LIFESTYLE

MAKE THANKSGIVING A LIFESTYLE

“In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” 1Thessalonians 5:18 (KJV)

No matter your challenge, God’s love for you is irrevocable, irreversible, unconditional, Ironclad, and blood-bought. Nothing can change it! Not even your mess can change it. It is permanent! It is eternal! And because of that love, which was demonstrated in giving Jesus to us, there is nothing God cannot do on your behalf. When you understand this, you no longer pray to ask Him, you pray to thank Him. You thank Him, knowing that He is faithful to His words and promises.

Whatever the circumstance may be, always lift your hands unto Him in thanksgiving. Know that all He did was for you. He died for you! He rose for you! He made everything available to you. Everything has been paid for. You are not owing to any debt. So, how do you receive all these things that the Lord has made available to you? You receive them as you begin to thank and praise Him.

Thank Him for His goodness on your behalf and in your family. Thank Him for the healing in your body. Thank Him for providing for you continually. Thank Him for His continual presence. Thank Him for the open doors. Give Him praise for your righteousness. Thank Him because He is our righteousness! He is our Sanctifier. He is the All-Sufficient One. He is our Creator. He is our Peace. He is the ever-present One. He is our Shepherd. The Lord of Host. Our Lord and Saviour, Our Redeemer, Our High Priest, Our only Sacrifice, the Bishop of our souls, and the Apostle of our confessions.

The word of God encourages us to always give Him thanks. “Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: For his mercy endureth for ever.” (Psalm 106:1). At the tomb of Lazarus, Jesus gave thanks. “Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.” (John 11:41)

God desires that thanksgiving should be a lifestyle for the believer. As you do, you will experience manifestation in a different area of your life.
