LORD OPEN MY EYES

LORD OPEN MY EYES

Dearly Beloved, I bring you greetings in the name that is above every other name, Jesus Christ the Son of the living God and our soon coming King. Welcome to another awesome Sunday in the month of June. This is an exciting week because it is the week of our Annual Word Celebration Conference themed God of Mercy. I am so excited and I am looking forward to this conference with great expectations.

Beloved, the reason this conference was put together is to build you up, strengthen you, and to give you a solid footing, so that you are not a mince meat in the hands of the enemy and you can perpetually live a victorious Christian life. I believe the greatest need for any believer who has accepted Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior is revelation, because it is revelation that will give you solidity.

That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,Ephesians 1:17-18 (KJV)

This is why in our text Paul prayed the prayer in Ephesians for our eyes to be opened, because once you receive revelation of the Word of God it changes everything. It gives you boldness over the enemy. This is why the prayer in Ephesians is very key. Lord open my eyes, because it is possible to be in a land of abundance and not know.

In Genesis 21 after Hagar and Ishmael were sent away, while on the journey, their supplies finished; they had no more water. At this point in time, they were in Beersheba, which was a land of wells. However in that land, they were crying, because they had no more water to drink. The scriptures say Hagar put Ishmael afar of so that she wouldnt watch her son die, and she cried unto God. The Bible says in verse 19, that God opened her eyes to see what was already provided, and then she saw the well which was there all along.

Beloved, as we go into this week of Word Celebration, I believe with all my heart that our posture should be that of Lord Open My Eyes, so we can see the things that are already ours as a result of Gods Mercy. There are things that God has already perfected in eternity and ordained for our glory as a result of His mercy and grace, but until our eyes are opened, we cannot possess it. Lord Open My Eyes should be our prayer this week.

The truth is that sometimes we think we know, we speak all the Christianese and everything, but when it comes down to it, do we really know? Do we really understand what the Mercy of God is, and all that pertains to us because of this great Mercy? Ephesians 2:4 tells us God is so rich in Mercy. Hebrews 4:16 tells us to come boldly to the throne of grace and obtain Mercy. What exactly is this Mercy, what does it entail, how can I apply it to different areas of my life? This and much more will be revealed at the Word Celebration 2019.

I want to encourage you to make sure you attend everyday of the conference. It has been specially packaged to bless you, so make sure you are there daily. In this conference I declare your eyes shall be opened, you will see all that God of Mercy has made available for you, and in turn you will possess your possessions and walk boldly because you are a god on this earth (Psalms 82:6)

Have a great week and see you at the conference.

Maranatha!
