LIVE IN THE OVERFLOW
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10 KJV)
One of the lies the devil has made us believe is that there is shortage in God. Since the fall of man, man has been struggling to exist, but everything belongs to God. Overflowing life is not an exception. It should be the norm for the believer; that is why Jesus came. He came that we may have life MORE ABUNDANTLY (that is the overflow). That is where God intends his children to live in, because God himself lives in the realm of overflow.
God spoke everything that is created into existence. That means everything was in God. He upholds all things with the power of His word. He owns it all. He is the Almighty. The God that we serve does not have shortage. As His child, you should not have shortage either. Jesus came to show us an example; He never experienced any shortage, so why should you? I have come your way to awaken you to your rights and privileges in God. You are designed to live in the overflow, irrespective of what is happening in the world’s economy.
The believer, the regenerated man is supposed to live like God, and function like God. And if God has no shortage, we should never have shortage. When God called you blessed, it means you have been empowered to succeed. You have been empowered to overcome every challenge in every area of your life. Overflow is not limited to finance; God wants you to enjoy overflowing health; He wants you to excel in the examinations, He wants you to have your baby, He desires that you succeed in every area of life and have all that you desire: that is the overflow. However, this comes from the understanding of your rights and privileges in God. You are not begging the devil to surrender, NO, you are to enforce your victory.. Arise and take your place in the overflow. That is where you belong in Christ.
