LEVERAGE ON YOUR NEW BIRTH

LEVERAGE ON YOUR NEW BIRTH

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)
Often times we think that the new birth is to get saved and go to heaven. No! No! The moment you gave your heart to Christ you became very important to heaven. You became a new species of being that never existed before. You became a royal priesthood, a peculiar people, a holy nation and the apple of God’s eye. Things cannot just happen to you. You are too valuable for the enemy to toss about. If God is for you who can be against you. Not even the devil and his cohorts.
It is ignorance that is destroying the church. God is not in trouble. The last time I checked He is sitting down. You only sit when you have finished what you are doing. Jesus said it is FINISHED! It is and the work is completed. He is sitting, relaxed at the right hand of the Father, knowing fully well that no matter what, the devil is only wasting his time.  Your victory is already guaranteed and the devil cannot undo in time what God has perfected in eternity. God is not going to do it, He has done it.
What is wrong with us believers is that we fail to receive. As believers, we don’t believe what we have seen, for we work by faith and not by sight. For instance, if you are wearing a purple dress, I can’t say I believe you are wearing a purple dress. You know why? Because I am seeing it! You believe what you have not seen. That is why the Holy Spirit gave the name believers to the church. We have not seen it but we believe. If we understand this, we should also apply it to spiritual things. Take advantage of the new birth in Christ and enforce your victory and dominion here on earth.
