LEVERAGE ON THE SACRIFICE OF JESUS

LEVERAGE ON THE SACRIFICE OF JESUS

“For if because of one man’s trespass (lapse, offense) death reigned through that one, much more surely will those who receive [God’s] overflowing grace (unmerited favor) and the free gift of righteousness [putting them into right standing with Himself] reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).” Romans 5:17 (AMPC)

To leverage on something means to “use to its maximum advantage”. So, it is not to use to five percent or ninety-nine percent advantage, but one hundred percent advantage. Our text makes it very clear that our heritage as children of God is to reign as kings in this life through Christ Jesus. Beloved, it’s not a suggestion but a guarantee. This means that as far as God is concerned, everything required for you to reign in life has been provided already. But the question I will like to ask you today is: Are you truly reigning in life?

The truth about the message of Grace and what Jesus accomplished for us at the cross is that the sacrifice of Jesus is perfectly perfect and completely complete. If there was one thing that Jesus’ death did not deal with, He would not have risen. Christ paid for your complete and total victory here on earth. But how many of us are leveraging on this sacrifice?

Unfortunately, many believers continue to wallow in penury, poverty, lack, disappointment, and shame, despite the embarrassment of riches that Christ’s sacrifice provided for us. Do you know why? Because they have refused to maximally take advantage of the benefits of Jesus’ sacrifice. Today, I encourage you to make up your mind to be one who not only understands the benefits of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus but maximizes the benefits of this perfect sacrifice. The world is waiting for you. We have an assurance that whatsoever you lay your hands to do shall prosper. I pray that as you walk in the consciousness of who you are in Christ, creation will answer to you. The ground that you walk upon will yield her increase unto you. The God advantage will speak for you every season of life.
