LET’S IDENTIFY WITH THE PAINS OF OTHERS

LET’S IDENTIFY WITH THE PAINS OF OTHERS

“Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”
Hebrews 4:14-15 (KJV)

Jesus can identify with your pains. That is why He is qualified to be your Saviour. He can identify with your rejection! He can identify with your aches, your sickness, and your disease. Whatever challenge you are passing through, Jesus can identify with it. We do not have a high Priest which cannot be touched by the feeling of our infirmities.

Jesus did not sit in heaven to tell you that He knows what you are going through. He came and identified with you. He came and sat where you are sitting. That is what the church is called to do. The church must identify with those who are weak. The church must identify with those who are still struggling with certain addictions and habits in their lives. The church must identify with those who are in pain, hungry, and naked. We must come to where they are and understand their situation to be able to help them. And when we have raised them, they will also raise other people.

Jesus is bigger than the whole world, yet He came down so He can identify with your infirmities. But here you are bragging that you have arrived. You walk around with air around you and you are unable to connect with the weaker believers around you, if you are guilty of this, it must stop. If you truly understand the love of God, you will go out of your way to strengthen others who are weak.

When you understand this message, no one will tell you to witness your faith. You will go bananas for God. Your talents and gifts will be released to serve the Kingdom of God.
