KNOW WHO YOU ARE IN CHRIST

KNOW WHO YOU ARE IN CHRIST

“Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God” 1 Corinthians 2:12 KJV

A lot of Christians are in different challenges and bondages and under intense pressures. Not because God has not already delivered them but because they are ignorant of the Word. Ignorance of the Word will keep you in bondage. When you are ignorant of what has been made available to you, you cannot take delivery of them. The revelation of the Word gives you some boldness. When you see some people talk with boldness and iron-clad confidence, it is because they have already discovered and latched unto who they are in Christ.

The scripture says that you are gods (Psalm 82:6), but because you don’t know it, the whole world is in disorder. I remember God telling Moses when he was running from Pharaoh; He said to him I have made you a god unto Pharaoh.
Beloved, what is your challenge? Do you realize what the Lord did? It was a redemptive work! And it was a complete work. He made you an heir and a joint heir with Him. You are born of God. So you are a world overcomer. This is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith. He said, ‘I have given you the authority to tread upon serpents and scorpion and over all the abilities of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you.’
They shall surely gather but not by Him. Whosoever shall gather against you shall fall for your sake. No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is your heritage in Christ, and your righteousness is of the Lord. Nothing should make you lose sleep because you are a child of a King. And you have the mandate of the Most High over your life.
