KEEP ON STRETCHING

“For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief”. Proverbs 24:16

People who do nothing never get anything. If you are in the company of those who are afraid to fail you will never succeed. Those who succeed in life are those who have failed many times. So I challenge you to attempt and keep on attempting. Keep on stretching. When you fall arise because you are not a failure. Believers are not failures. The scripture said though the believer falls seven times he will yet rise again. So no matter what, your future is bright and colorful. Your tomorrow is better.

When I look at the scriptures I see the templates all through. According to Genesis 1:1-2, it is written: “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. And the earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep and the spirit of God began to move upon the face of the water” Genesis.  But in verse 3: “God said let there be light, and there was light”. It has never been done before to call light out of darkness. Light speaks of development. Light speaks of visions and dreams. Light speaks of insight and light speaks of knowledge and understanding. “Let there be light” And when He spoke light came. When He spoke, light overruled darkness. Your life will never end in darkness.

Abraham had to come out of darkness and obscurity but he stretched. God said to him come out of your family, come out of your country and out of your kindred to a land that I will show you.  God was speaking to a man that was 75 years old. It was not easy but he did it anyway. He stretched himself.  They must have called him names. They must have ridiculed him. They must have said all kinds of things against him but he stood his ground. Today we are sons and daughters of Abraham because he dared to stretch himself.
