KEEP LOOKING UNTO JESUS

KEEP LOOKING UNTO JESUS

“But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me”

Matthew 14:30 KJV

God wants to give you an expected end. So, that should be your focus. However, the question is what end are you expecting? You must be selective about what you are expecting. You must not join the rest to parrot how bad the nation is. What has that got to do with you? Are people not being promoted? Are people not being elevated? Whatever you are going through right now, God is going to step in turn everything around and His Glory shall be seen upon your life.

Learn to look from where you are and not at where you are. When Peter took his eyes off Jesus and focused on the wind boisterous, he became afraid and began to sink. Yes, the wind is boisterous around you but that shouldn’t be your focus. Your focus should be on Jesus and the finished works of redemption. “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God” (Hebrew 12:2 KJV).

Beloved, you been quickened, raised and made to sit together in Christ above all the challenges. The wind is boisterous but don’t shift your focus. Don’t stop looking at the truth. Jesus is the Author and the Finisher of your faith. He began this journey of faith; He will also finish it.

Whatever it is that is frightening you, fear not, only believe. It takes faith to believe. When every report around you is contradictory, it takes faith to believe. When you don’t have a womb to deliver a child, it takes faith to believe. Jehovah who told you to believe is more than able. Why will you doubt Him?

Beloved, your part is to hold on to what He said. That is how to look unto Jesus. The impossible part is what the devil presents but your part is to shut his mouth.
