KEEP HOPE ALIVE; IT IS NOT OVER YET

“Haste ye, and go up to my father, and say unto him, Thus saith thy son Joseph, God hath made me lord of all Egypt: come down unto me, tarry not:” (Genesis 45:9 KJV)

Unknown to Jacob, Joseph was reigning in the land of affliction. But back home Jacob was mourning, thinking that Joseph was dead. There is hope for you. Your Joseph is not dead. Christ in you is the hope of glory. You cannot serve the living God and end up in shame and disgrace. It is an insult to the finished work of Christ on the cross for a believer to be serving God and still be thinking that there is no hope for him.

Beloved, there is nothing like hopelessness for the believer. In Christ we have a colourful destiny. In Christ our tomorrow is secure. What is ahead of you is bigger and better than anything you have ever seen. “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither has it entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” (1 Corinthians 2:9 KJV) Walk in confident expectation. You have the capacity to believe in hope against all hopes. You have the ability to live in supernatural hope.

Man did not give you a word of promise. It is God that said it. The onus, therefore, lies on Him to bring it to pass. If God said it will work, leave it to him. Why do you want to understand how it will work? Leave God in his exclusive class. The God we serve is on a superior platform, not an ordinary platform. So leave him to be who he is. He is the Almighty!

Speaking about, Romans 4:21 which says “And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.” Be fully persuaded that what God said, He will do. Think about it, if you promise a child a bar of chocolate, the child does not wonder where the chocolate will come from, he or she simply expects the bar of chocolate on your return. That is the same faith God wants us to have in Him. Stand with full persuasion. You will not be disappointed.
