JESUS HAS FULFILLED THE LAW

JESUS HAS FULFILLED THE LAW

“For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth.” Romans 10:4 (KJV)

It is sad that a lot of Christians don’t even know what applies to them today. Some are applying into their lives what the Jews are doing when they are not Jews. Today’s believer is neither a Jew nor a Gentile. You are a new creation. You are created in Christ Jesus. The church was born after Jesus rose from the dead. So, anything that happened before Jesus Christ rose from the dead is not basically for the church. Yes, we can learn from them, but they are not fundamentally for the church. Jesus came to fulfil the law. He did not come to destroy the law. If the law is not fulfilled, there can be no salvation for any of us. Why did He have to come and fulfil it? It is because you cannot fulfil it. Yet it is necessary if you must be saved.

The law requires that every person living on this earth has to live by God’s law and standards to be saved. The law says that anyone who does not live by the standard of God’s word cannot be saved. The soul that sinneth shall die. So the rule is that you must obey the Ten Commandments and over six hundred other laws attached to it. That is the law! Outside that, no one can be saved. There is nothing like 99% or that I tried! No! It must be a hundred per cent. But God in his infinite mercy, who does not want anyone to perish but that all should come to repentance, decided to come and fulfil the law for man.

Jesus is the end of the law to all righteousness. Now, for anyone who believes in Jesus, he has obeyed the law. Otherwise, there is no hope for any of us. Jesus has fulfilled the law for us. So, when God looks at you, He sees you as someone who has fulfilled the law. That is how He deals with you.
