IT’S YOUR SEASON OF REJOICING
Dearly beloved, I bring you greetings in the name that is above every other name, Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God and our soon coming King. Welcome to the month of June; oh what an awesome God we serve. Today, I’ve come your way with a sure word from God: “Your testimony is round the corner.”
We are in a time and season where the media is filled with news that make you weep; tales of woe all across the globe, more especially in our nation Nigeria. Many no longer feel safe to move around even in the most secure environments, because of the news of sudden attacks, kidnap, etc. Yet in the midst of all this, God is assuring us that it is our season of rejoicing.
“So those who planted their crops in despair will shout hurrahs at the harvest, So those who went off with heavy hearts will come home laughing, with armloads of blessing.” Psalms 126:5-6 (MSG)
I know in the past months, things may not have worked out like you expected. You have fasted and prayed and it appears that the heaven has become brass and the earth iron. Child of God, don’t be moved by the lies of the devil, our text remains very true: “…those who went off with heavy hearts will come home laughing, with armloads of blessing.” Beloved, your season of blessing is here, it is your time to celebrate and nothing can stop it.
In view of this, I encourage you in the words of Apostle Paul in Hebrews 10:35-36 (NLT) “So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that He has promised”. Beloved, you will not lose out in Jesus’ name. You will reap all that the Lord has promised you, so don’t cast away your confidence. Don’t give up and don’t give in.
Every day I hear mind blowing testimonies of healing, deliverance, financial abundance, marriages, fruit of the womb amongst others and I know that the same God who has done it for one will do it for you for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon Him. The very fact that He has done it before is proof that you will not be denied. God is too faithful to fail. Like the songwriter said, “He never failed me, and He never walks away” so determine never to let go of His love.
As you go into this week, go in the attitude of celebration and it shall come to pass.
Maranatha!
In His Royal Service,
Bishop Mike Okonkwo
