IT IS NOT LITTLE

IT IS NOT LITTLE

Dearly Beloved, I bring you greetings in the name that is above every other name, Jesus Christ the Son of the living God and our soon coming King. Happy Father’s Day to all Fathers in the world of TREM and across the globe. Many times we limit fathers to just men with biological children, but fatherhood is more than that. Every man who is married and stands in the place of respect and honour is a father worthy to be celebrated.

I celebrate you fathers, I thank God for His mighty hand upon your life and I pray that as you celebrate, the Lord will show you a token for good; your head will never lack oil, God will take you from one level of glory to another. He will establish, perfect, strengthen and settle you in the name of Jesus. Fathers I bless you today in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today, I want to let you know that the thing God has placed in your hand is not little, so don’t trivialize it.

“Elisha said, “I wonder how I can be of help. Tell me, what do you have in your house?” “Nothing”, she said. “Well, I do have a little oil.”” – 2 Kings 4:2 (MSG)

Notice the widow’s response to Elisha about what she had, she described her oil as little. She didn’t think it was anything significant, not knowing that was where her deliverance and her miracle was. Beloved, what is that thing that you are trivializing, with God, nothing is too small to produce a miracle. He is the same God who multiplied five loaves and two fishes to feed five thousand men, not counting the women and children, and there was still twelve baskets leftover (Luke 9:10-17)

There is nothing too little or too insignificant for God to perform a miracle. The widow at Zarephath in 1Kings 17 had only a handful of flour, and a little oil at the bottom of the jug. She planned to eat that as her final meal with her son and then die, but then God had other plans. She put that little produce in God’s hands and He used that little to sustain herself and her son for many days.

Child of God put that little in His hands, He will multiply it. I pray for you today that you will not see shame. Grace will be made manifest in all areas of your life in Jesus’ name. I bless you today in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Maranatha!

In His Royal Service,

Dr. Mike Okonkwo

The Presiding Bishop
