IT IS ALREADY SETTLED
“For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it” Isaiah 55:10-11 (KJV)
There is nothing the devil fashions that is strong enough to withstand God’s Word. He is the One that upholds all things by the Word of his power. How then can the devil use anything to hinder His Word? God is not a son of man that He should lie. He is not the son of man that He should repent. If He said it, you can take it to the bank. If He said it, you can go to bed. Once God has spoken, it is done. Your part is to believe what God has spoken! “For the scripture saith, whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.” (Romans 10:11 KJV).
Stop being anxious or harassed. The believer should be relaxed knowing that it is already settled. God’s Word can never be overruled by the enemy. So, stop worrying over what has been settled. That financial situation has been settled. If God can take care of ants, He will take care of you. You are more valuable than ants. Just believe Him! Believe His Report! “Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?” (Isaiah 53:1 KJV). It is whoever that believes the report that will see the arm of God.
You see, the more I read the scriptures the more I understand that God never wants you to be worried about anything. As a believer, everything about you has already been settled. It is your refusal to rest that causes you not to see the result. If you are working, then God will not be working. But when you rest, then God takes over. You will only rest when you know that it is already settled.
The only labor we are called to is the labor to rest. In order words, labor to believe Him. It simply means labor to believe the Lord. Find the promises God has made you and hold on to them tenaciously.
