IN THE MIDST OF CHAOS

IN THE MIDST OF CHAOS

I bring you greetings in the name that is above every other name, Jesus Christ the Son of the living God and the soon coming King. What a joy it is to be alive today, glory to Jesus. I feel constrained to share with you today, on the importance of having the right perspective at all times, more especially in the midst of challenges and difficulties. It is vitally important that we learn to see how Jesus sees, because having the right perspective will go a long way in determining how you come out of that situation.

And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” (Genesis 1:2 KJV)

The Bible paints a very clear picture for us, so we can truly understand the state of things at the time. It says the earth had no form, no shape, it was totally desolate, void and completely empty. The message translation tells us that the earth was a soup of nothingness, a bottomless emptiness, an inky blackness” and yet, the Spirit of God was moving. This tells me that the worst difficulty cannot stop the move of the Spirit. The Spirit of God is always moving in spite of the problems and challenges we encounter. But the question is where is your attention, where is your focus? Is your focus on the chaos, darkness, difficulty, or is it on Jesus?

Philippians 2:9-10 (KJV) states “Wherefore God hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;” That is your God, everything bows at the mention of His name. He is the Almighty and He is not limited by anything or any situation. Chaos cannot stop your God! Out of that chaos, God called forth light and light came forth in Genesis 1:3. When your focus is on God despite the difficulty and challenge, you will have the holy audacity to call forth your expectations and watch it manifest.

The problem with a lot of us is that we allow the chaos overwhelm us, because we make the challenge our focus. Child of God change your focus, and fix your eyes on Jesus. He is with you in the fire, in the flood, come what may, He is always with you, and if God be for you, who/what can be against you (Isaiah 43:2 Romans 8:31) What is that situation that you think will sink you? What is that chaotic situation that you feel you will never come out of? Beloved, light can still shine out of darkness; all you need to do is to focus on the God who still moves in spite of the chaos.

It’s interesting that the bible begins with showing us how God navigated His way through a dark, difficult and chaotic situation. He did this in order to show us that He is not limited by any situation, and also to show us how to respond when we are faced with challenges and difficulties. That is why Jesus says in John 16:33 that yes you will be faced with challenges and difficulties, but don’t allow it intimidate you, because I have already overcome. Therefore you can walk boldly knowing that the Almighty God will make a way where there seems to be no way.

I declare to you today that nothing works against you. No matter the difficulty, you are coming out of it. The Lord will fight your battles; He will shut the mouth of the enemy. You are victorious. I bless you today in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Maranatha!
