IN THE MIDST OF CHAOS III
To God be all the glory, praise and adoration for keeping us alive to see the last Sunday in the month of July, in the year of Above Only, our God is indeed a good God. Thank God for His rich mercies, favour and love over our lives and families; we will worship Him forever.
Today, I’ll be wrapping up the series I started two weeks ago “In The Midst of Chaos”. I believe we have all been tremendously blessed, and have also started applying the principles we have learned so far. The final principle in this series is the power of declaring your expectations in line with the Word. The chaos did not stop God from boldly declaring His expectations, and it manifested.
“And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” (Genesis 1:3 KJV)
The preceding verse tells us that the earth was without form and void, and there was darkness everywhere. God did not bother giving credence to the darkness, He didn’t for once start to cry and complain about the chaotic situation, He just commanded light to shine, and light came forth. Child of God in the midst of that challenge, open up your mouth and declare your expectations. It does you no good to parrot or rehearse your challenges. Rather to see transformation, speak to that problem. Mark 11:23 (KJV) tells us “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”
Beloved, resist the urge to speak contrary to your expectations. I know you’re hurting, I know the battle is raging and the billows are tossing high, but you must resist the urge to declare anything other than your expectations in line with the Word of God. The Bible says you shall have whatsoever you say, which means your words determine what manifests in your life. Therefore speak your expectations, speak what God’s Word says concerning you, so that they manifest. All through the scriptures, you will never catch Jesus speaking anything contrary to His expectations. He never spent His time analyzing the problems He was faced with, rather He went to the tomb of Lazarus, and commanded him to come forth, and he did. (John 11:18-46)
Child of God, if you want to see transformation in that challenge, Genesis 1:1-3, gives us a clear template, and if we will follow it, our expectations will manifest. Remember, the first thing is to know that your God is still the Almighty and All Powerful God. Chaos does not diminish His power or His person, He still moves in the midst of chaos. Secondly, rest in Him, rest in His promises. When we rest, we receive clarity on what to do per time. When we rest, it shows that we trust Him, and God loves it when we display absolute trust in Him, it causes Him to flex His muscles. Lastly, we need to speak the Word of God even in the midst of chaos. The Word of God has the power to turn things around. It is the Word of God that upholds all things, and so it will turn that situation around.
I declare a turnaround in that situation. Your desires shall manifest. You are Above Only in all areas of your life. The Lord shall overrule for you. I will hear your testimonies. I bless you today in Jesus’ name, Amen.
