IN CHRIST, YOU ARE ABOVE

IN CHRIST, YOU ARE ABOVE

“And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:”

(Ephesians 2:6 KJV)

The church is coming into a new dimension of power. These are the days of His power. A new generation is rising up, a generation that has an understanding of who they are in Christ. According to our text, you have been raised and made to sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Therefore, you must have a far above mentality. You are far above sickness, disease, pains and agony. You are far above witches and wizards, charms and enchantments, incantations, spells and divinations.

So you see, ignorance is what has kept the church incapacitated. And the word of God declares that through knowledge shall the just be delivered (Proverbs 11:9 KJV). The word of God does not say run from place to place. No! Sit down and learn of Him. Find out who you are in Him. Learn of Him and you will find rest to your soul. In other words, there will be no anxiety. You will relax, even when all hell is breaking loose. If you don’t believe me, ask Jesus. According to the accounts in Mark 4:35-41, while the storm was on, Jesus was sleeping because He knew that the storm could not overpower Him. He knew that He is above storms. Beloved, you are above poverty! You are above barrenness! You are above miscarriage! You are above disease! You are above failure! You are above fear! You are above death!

Take time to study who you are in Christ. You don’t have to read the King James Version if the colloquial English will confuse you, we have the Bible in various translations and languages, choose the one easiest for you and study the Pauline epistles, find out who you are in Christ. When you read it, take time to meditate on the word, become one with it and then take the next step of living by that word. Appropriate what Jesus has made available to you, for in Him you are above only.
