HOW TO RESPOND TO A CHALLENGING SITUATION

HOW TO RESPOND TO A CHALLENGING SITUATION

“And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” Genesis 1:3 (KJV)

In Genesis chapter 1, God gives us a perfect example of what our response should be when we are faced with challenging situations. Verse 2 of the chapter tells us that the earth was without form and void and there was darkness everywhere. But in verse 3, God declares His expectation. He said let there be light, and light manifested. As children of God, that should be our stand. We must commit ourselves to declaring the Word and holding onto it without wavering until we see it manifest. Don’t you ever forget that He who promised is faithful, and He will bring it to pass.

But the adversary is not going to play dead and watch you succeed, He’s going to come at you, to test to see if you really know and believe the word you are declaring. The Bible says that he walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). But he will not see you to devour.  Therefore, you must be vigilant and stay in the word. The devil’s goal is to ensure that the seed of the Word planted in your heart, does not take root and bear fruits. To counter his plan, you must steadfastly feed on the word.

This year has a lot of great things in store for you and you shall partake of it all. You will not miss out on God’s blessings for you this year. That which you have received is permanent. The enemy shall not pluck it out from your hands. You will enjoy all that Christ paid the ultimate price for you to enjoy. As you go about your activities, as always, I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. It shall be well with you. Your destiny will not be truncated. Evil shall bow before you and the wicked at your gate.
