HOW CONNECTED ARE YOU TO YOUR MAN OF GOD

HOW CONNECTED ARE YOU TO YOUR MAN OF GOD

“And she went up and laid him on the bed of the man of God, and shut the door upon him, and went out.” 2Kings 4:21 (KJV)
The Shunammite woman was well connected to her man of God. The question I want to ask you today is: How connected are you to your man of God? When the enemy struck, she knew where to go. She took the child and placed him on the bed of the man of God. In other words, let covenant speak for me! Let my tithes speak for me!
When trouble comes, what is it that speaks for you? You can put something in an envelope, but the question is, is that really your tithe? The truth is that we are not dealing with man; we are dealing with God. In times of trouble, what is it that speaks for you? It is not just about praying, there must be something extra speaking for you, telling God that if this is the only prayer you will answer, you have to answer it.
The woman took the child and went to the room. She put the child there in the house she built for the man of God and shut the door. I want you to notice the reverence of this woman. She built a house exclusively for the use of the man of God. Even when the Man of God was not around, she didn’t use the apartment for something else; because it belongs to the Man of God. Could it be that the reason some people fail to receive the manifestation of God’s grace in their lives is because of irreverence and disregard for the man of God, whom God has given to them? Do you know that you can disregard somebody in your heart, yet whenever the person sees you, you would laugh and smile?
I urge you today to stay connected to the Grace which God has released upon your life through your man of God.  Stay focused and be committed to service and watch God elevate you.
