HE DID IT FOR YOU
Oh, what a joy it is to be celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ today. Happy Easter! Our Savior is risen. Death, grave, and hell could not hold Him down; Jesus is alive and He reigns forevermore, Hallelujah! We have every cause to sing, dance, rejoice and celebrate because Jesus is alive. This is why I always say that the believer should be the happiest person on the planet because our King is alive.
As we make merry today and rejoice, it is vitally important that we never lose the meaning and essence of Easter. Our Christian faith is hinged on the cross and all that Jesus accomplished through His death, burial, and resurrection, and so it is important that we never minimize the sacrifice and we fully embrace the benefits because everything that Jesus did was for you and me. He paid the supreme price so that we can enjoy the benefits.
Sin has been dealt with, sickness, disease, barrenness, poverty, lack have all been dealt with at the cross; the price has been paid in full, and Jesus said it is finished (John 19:30).
“Yet, Christ paid the full price to set us free from the curse of the law. He absorbed the curse completely as he became a curse in our place. For it is written: “Everyone who is hung upon a tree is cursed.” Jesus Christ dissolved the curse from our lives, so that in him all the blessings of Abraham can be poured out upon gentiles. And now through faith we receive the promised Holy Spirit who lives in us.” – Galatians 3:13-14 (TPT)
Beloved, everything that Jesus did was for you. He hung on the tree and became a curse in your place so that the blessing can be yours; He did it for you. Therefore why would you leave your blessing on the table? Why would you not enjoy the benefits? Child of God, you are not cursed, you are blessed. Never tolerate anything in your life other than the blessing. When the enemy comes with sickness, disease, discouragement, send it back to him, and let him know that that is not for you, because your part is the blessing.
Easter should not be a one-time celebration, but a daily celebration of all that Jesus accomplished for us. We can live whole and free because the price has been fully paid. I declare that this month your eyes will be flooded with light, so that you may know all that has been freely given to you by Jesus and your lips will surely testify. I bless you today in Jesus’ name, Amen.
