GOOD IDEAS ARE NOT ALWAYS SPIRITUALLY CORRECT

GOOD IDEAS ARE NOT ALWAYS SPIRITUALLY CORRECT

“For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”
Romans 8:6 KJV

In Mark 6:35, Jesus was ministering to multitudes of people and it was getting late. His disciples came unto him and said, this is a desert place, and now the time is far passed, send them away that they may go into the country roundabout, and into the villages and buy themselves bread, for they have nothing to eat. There is no doubt that it sounded like a good suggestion. But sometimes, good suggestions are not spiritual and good ideas may not be spiritual. If it is not spiritual, it will not produce spiritual results. And it also cannot produce supernatural results when you act on them.

Jesus answered them and said unto them: give ye them to eat. ‘What? We have just told you that this is a desert, no Shoprite, no supermarket, and you said we should give them to eat? From where? A natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God because they are foolishness to him. They cannot know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Jesus now asked them, ‘what do you have?’ We are talking about five thousand men to be fed, minus women and children. So, we may be talking about close to 12000 people there. They had only five loaves and two fishes. The carnal man would say, ‘there is no point trying. It doesn’t make sense attempting to feed 12,000 people with five loaves and two fishes.’

Beloved, it does not have to make common sense, but it must make spiritual sense. If it makes spiritual sense, go ahead and do it and the God of the supernatural will show up for you.  Surely, your testimony shall not tarry. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
