GOD’S COVENANT WITH YOU CANNOT BE OVERRULED

GOD’S COVENANT WITH YOU CANNOT BE OVERRULED

“For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee.” Isaiah 54:10 (KJV)

In the book of Luke chapter 8, Jesus was sleeping when there was a storm. He was sleeping despite the thunderstorm in the high sea. The billows were tossing high and the storm was raging, but Jesus was sleeping. He was not panicking.

Your life is not to be filled with panic and anxiety. “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7 KJV)

I see people who feel rejected, who feel no way out, and who have cancelled themselves out. Some people are passing through seasons in their lives; my heart reaches out to them. If you have an understanding of your covenant, it will help you in every area of your Christian life. The Lord came to cut a covenant with man. He came to tell mankind that all hope is not lost. He came to tell mankind that He is a covenant-keeping God.

Beloved whatever thing you have given up on or that you have already cancelled out, God is simply telling you that because of Jesus it will be done. You may say Brother Mike you don’t know what the doctors told me. They may have said what they saw which is a fact. But the fact is not the truth. You shall know the truth and it is the truth that sets you free. What is the truth? The truth is that you are in a covenant with God that cannot be violated or overruled.

Child of God, don’t believe the lie of the devil. You may have failed God so many times, but that does not overrule the covenant. If you are a child of God, you have a sit at the high table of God because of your covenant relationship.
