GOD IS YOUR REFUGE

GOD IS YOUR REFUGE

Dearly Beloved, I bring you greetings in the name that is above every other name Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God and our soon coming King. It is no longer news that we are currently experiencing a global pandemic, and the hearts of many are failing on a daily basis. There’s pain, sickness, hardship, all manner of evil all around, but in the midst of all this, we can be confident because God is our refuge.

“God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea.” – (Psalms 46:1-2 NLT)

I come your way this morning to assure you that the God you serve is able to protect and uphold you in spite of all the onslaughts of the enemy. As a Believer you must realize that God is for you, on you no matter what He is on your side. You can afford to go to bed knowing that He will take care of you. The dictionary defines ‘refuge’ as shelter or protection from danger, trouble. It’s a place of safety, providing relief or escape. In our text, the Psalmist makes it clear that God is our protection, He is our shelter from the storm, He is our deliverer.

Let me assure you that the Hand of God that upholds the universe is resting upon your life and no power from hell will cut you short because your life is hid with Christ in God. You can’t serve God and see embarrassment, so stop shaking and be not afraid. I declare to you by the authority of the word of God that you will not see shame neither will you be dismayed. Evil has no choice than to bow before you and the wicked shall bow at your gates. Understand that God has already provided a Goshen for you. You are safe day and night. My God will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the noisesome pestilence and from the arrow that flies by day and destruction that wastes at noonday (Psalms 91). I therefore challenge you today to fear not! Fear not!! Fear not!!! Covenant will speak for you.

As you go into this week, as always, I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. I bless you today in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Maranatha!

In His Royal Service
