GOD HONOURS HIS WORD

GOD HONOURS HIS WORD

“I will worship toward thy holy temple and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.” Psalms 138:2 (KJV)

God honours His Word above His name. His covenant He will never break nor alter what comes out from His mouth. He upholds all things by the Word of His power.

The Word is so needed at this time. You must listen to it. Feed your children, feed your wife and feed the entire family. Put it in your car and put it in your bathroom. Listen to it day and night because that is what will make you successful. According to Psalms 1:1 “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.”

“Blessed is the man…” I love that! Empowered is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly. So you must watch the company you keep because it can influence what you say and what you do. You must filter every counsel you are receiving. “But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and his law doth he meditates day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither, and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper” (Psalms 1:2-3 KJV)

If there was a time you needed to turn to the scriptures, it is now. Bombard your mind with the Word of God. The Word can never fail. It is infallible! It is errorless! It is impregnable! The Word will always come to pass because God is always watching over His Word to perform it.

When you choose to function in the Word, you are like a tree that is planted by the waters: that tree does not know the season. It brings forth fruit at every season. He doesn’t dry up and he doesn’t know famine. Whatever he does shall prosper. Why? Because God honours His Word. You cannot function in the Word and be disappointed.
