GOD HAS PUT YOU IN CHARGE

GOD HAS PUT YOU IN CHARGE

“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” (Genesis 1:28.)

As believers, we know that our God is omnipotent, all powerful, omniscient, all knowing, omnipresent, everywhere every time. And that he can do everything he wants to do. He is sovereign and there is nothing He cannot do because He is God. But we take it for granted and as a result, we don’t want to take responsibility for anything. We assume that if God will do it, he will do it anyhow. We take it for granted that since he is all knowing, let him just do it. But that is not how God functions. We need to begin to understand the character and the nature of God.

The bible says in Genesis 1 that God put in place the animal kingdom, the vegetable kingdom, etc. And when he has put everything in place he said let us make man in our image and after out likeness.

God created man in His image and he said let them have dominion and subdue the earth and God bless them. That is, he empowered them so succeed in all they will do. You are blessed to succeed and this means you don’t have any material for failure. Don’t ever forget this! You have the material to succeed in every endeavour.

God  blessed man and put man in charge over the earth.  From that moment forward God took his hands off the affairs of this earth and left us in charge. That is why when the animals were made, God handed them over to Adam in Genesis 2. And whatever Adam called them was what they will become. God stepped out and said I will live in the heaven of heavens and control from there but you are in charge here. Whatever you say it is, it is. If you call it good, it’s good and if you call it bad, it’s bad. And if you say it won’t work, it won’t work. You are in charge.
