GOD DOES NOT REMEMBER YOUR SINS

GOD DOES NOT REMEMBER YOUR SINS

“I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not
remember thy sins.” Isaiah 43:25 (KJV)

Beloved, God has blotted out your transgressions for his name’s sake, and He does not
remember them again. He did it for His own sake. Sin, in this context, is not just nature, but
the act. That God says He will not remember your sins. You know we have this idea and we
preached it when we had little understanding of the scripture; that God has a tape recorder
that records everything and when the last day comes, He will play your tape. I have heard it
and I preached it, but you know God’s revelation is progressive. Truth is, God does not have
any tape of your sins. He himself has already erased them and He said, He will not remember.

Jeremiah 31:34 says: “And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man
his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto
the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their
sin no more.” Iniquity more or less speaks of the sins of generations. So, you see, that puts a
hole in the balloon for people who bring the doctrine of generational curse. The Lord says He
will not remember our iniquity and our sin anymore. If God is saying to us that He will not
remember, why are you reminding him? Romans 11:27 says, “For this is my covenant unto
them when I shall take away their sins.” If your sins are taken away, it means they are no
more there.

Our sins have been forgiven according to the riches of His grace (Ephesians 1:17). So don’t
let the devil flaunt your sins before you and thereby stop you from receiving from God. His
strategy is to rob you of your boldness and make you become spiritually paralyzed. God
doesn’t remember your sins. Jesus did a complete job of redemption.
