GOD CAN NOT LIE

“God is not a man that he should lie: neither the son of man that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” Numbers 23:19 (KJV)

God cannot lie. He is the God that keeps promises. He is the God that keeps the covenant. In the book of Psalms 119:89, the Bible tells us that “His word is forever settled in Heaven.”  Heaven and Earth shall pass away, but an iota of the word of God shall never pass away. The word shall not go unfulfilled. No word of God is void of power. With God all things are possible.

The book of Hebrews 4:12 declares: “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

The word of God can penetrate any aspect of a human being: your spirit, your soul, and your body.  It deals with all issues of life; none is exempted. The promise of God is a done deal. When God tells you that you are blessed, healed, delivered, and prosperous, He is not lying; neither is He cracking jokes. The challenge is our response to His word. Do you have enough faith to receive it? That is the problem.

The life of the believer is a life of faith. The Bible was very clear when He said: The just shall live by faith. You are called to live by faith and not by sight. It is not until you see it. Seeing is not believing for the believer, you do not need to believe in what you have already seen. For the Believer, believing is seeing. The word of God says “…blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. (John 20:29 KJV)
