GOD CAN BE TRUSTED AT ALL TIMES
Comments
“And the Midianites sold him into Egypt unto Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh’s, and captain of the guard”. Genesis 37:36 (KJV)
God is a revelation. You cannot figure Him out. When you think you have figured Him out, He pulls another strong arm. He knows how to orchestrate things. That is another reason to trust Him completely. Have you asked yourself why it was necessary for the Midianites who bought Joseph to have carried him to Egypt? Why was it that they did not come from Syria or carry him to Syria? There could well also have been slave traders from Syria or from another country. The place that Joseph will be lifted up is Egypt and so it must be traders from Egypt. That was God at work! He knows how to turn around the enemies’ plans and work it out for good! For all things work together for good to them that love God.
Beloved, I want to assure you that your decision to serve God and get committed to Him fully is not a wasted effort. It will produce the result much more than you expect. Your expectations shall not be cut off. All you need to do is trust! When faith seems to be throwing you lemon and asking you what you will do next, tell him I don’t know but all I know is that I will still serve this God with all my heart. And there is no way you will make such commitment that you will not have a testimony.
Consider Job also. Job didn’t understand what he was going through. He didn’t understand why he lost all his businesses and his possessions. Job didn’t understand why his body was ravaged by disease, but he chose to continue to trust God. “Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: ………”. (Job 13:15 KJV). Beloved, God can be trusted. You may not understand what is happening around you, but I encourage you to hang in there, He will certainly come through for you.
Throughout this month and beyond, settle it in your spirit that God can be trusted.
