GOD ALWAYS EXCEEDS OUR EXPECTATION
“When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.”
Psalm 126:1 (KJV)
Every time God moves on behalf of an individual, He always exceeds expectations. When God moved in the life of Joseph, he moved from the prison to the palace; when He moved in the life of Mordecai, he rode on the King’s mule and wore the royal crown. When God moved in the life of David, He moved him from being a shepherd boy to the palace and ultimately made him the king. God is a “much more” God. He is able to do EXCEEDING ABUNDANTLY ABOVE. That is the God you serve.
“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,”(Ephesians 3:20 KJV). So don’t you ever believe the lies of the devil. God always fulfills His promise.
I remember when God zeroed in on a man called Jephthah in Judges Chapter 11. Jephthah was driven out of his father’s house and you would have thought that was the end of him, but he understood that the redeemed of the Lord will always return with joy and gladness. Upon his exile, he went to the land of Tob. But he didn’t go there to lick his wounds; rather, he went there to equip himself for his return. You will return!
By the time God was through with Jephthah, children sent him away but elders brought him back with a blank cheque to name his price. I declare to you that you will return with celebration, with victory and with breakthrough. You will return again! You will not end up a failure. You can never go down again. You have been lifted by God. The book of Proverbs 10:28 says “The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.” I declare to you that you will celebrate. God will exceed your expectations. In the very place where you have been abused, maltreated, ignored and ridiculed, the Lord will cause you to be sought after and celebrated. God’s glory will be seen in your life as the Lord exceeds your expectations.
