GIVE WILLINGLY
“Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering.”
Exodus 25:2 KJV
When you go out there and see some of your peers seemingly doing better than you, it is not because they are smarter than you, it is most likely because they are responding to the Word of God the way they should respond. In Exodus 25:2, the people of Israel had just come out of 430 years of slavery and people who are slaves don’t own anything. If you have been under the hands of taskmasters who abused you, misused you, molested you and treated you anyhow, often times you have nothing. These are the people Jehovah was speaking to.
He spoke unto Moses saying: ‘speak unto the children of Israel that they bring me an offering, of every man that giveth it willingly from his heart you shall take my offering.’ Common sense would say, ‘God, that’s not fair, you’re God, you should be merciful unto them.’ That is how the natural man thinks and that is how we think. We would say: there are poor people in church, and you are asking them for offering. There are poor people and you are taking their tithes. Let me tell you, you don’t have enough money to finance the work of God. I don’t care how wealthy you are, you can never be wealthy enough to finance God’s work. Understand that with or without you, God will finance His Kingdom. Your partaking in it depends on which level you want to be and which dimension you want to go.
I am not going to allow one ignorant person mislead the people God has put in my hands. I have the responsibility to enlighten you. When God spoke to them in Exodus 25, it was not relevant that some people had challenges. All that mattered was for them to respond properly, by giving willingly.
