GIVE IT YOUR BEST SHOT

GIVE IT YOUR BEST SHOT

“Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.” Ecclesiastics 9:10 KJV

Today, I have come to challenge you to hold on and keep up the good work you are doing in the Lord because I have an assurance in my heart that God will surely come through for you. I encourage you not to cast away your confidence which has a great recompense of reward. In these last days, the enemy wants to weaken your hands and step down your zeal and commitment to the things of God. However, I feel constrained in my spirit to charge you to “delight thyself also in the Lord; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart” (Psalms 37:4 KJV).

I urge you to give whatever you are doing today your best shot, knowing that He who has called you will reward you. Today, we have a clientele of believers who are not committed to excellence. They do not want to do anything in the Church or even in their own individual lives. They handle whatever is committed into their hands with laxity and yet expect results. It doesn’t work out like that. God will not do for you what you can do for yourself. His job is to bless whatever your hands find to do. If your hands are idle, what will He bless? The Bible says an idle soul will definitely suffer hunger while the hand of the diligent shall be made fat. By much slothfulness, the building decays and through idleness of the hands, the house rots (Ecclesiastes 10:18). God hates laziness. Put your hands on something and see God bless you.

If you are already doing something, put in your best and shoot for excellence. You may not see the result immediately, but persistence and diligence will always be rewarded. It is my prayer that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it.  The Lord will show you a token for good and fill your mouth with testimonies.
