GET READY TO SHUT HIM UP!
Dearly Beloved, welcome to the last Sunday in September. I bless the name of the Lord for His goodness and faithfulness towards us throughout the month, for the diverse ways He showed up for us and gave us victory. I believe that the remaining days of this month will be filled with testimonies for us, this week shall be truly special for us in the name of Jesus.
October is here! The month of October is a month of fasting for the entire TREM world, and we are going to be shutting the devil up. We are silencing his voice of condemnation, accusation, limitation, we are breaking strongholds and possessing our possessions. I believe with all my heart that even from the very first day testimonies will abound, there shall be restoration, healing, and diverse miracles because Jesus has paid the price for us. You know I’ve always said that we don’t fight for victory but from a place of victory. Therefore we shall be enforcing our victory based on the finished works of Christ.
“And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled:…” – Revelations 20:1-3 (KJV)
Child of God our text above makes it very clear that the devil is a defeated foe, he has been cast into the bottomless pit and shut up, so why should you allow him run roughshod over you? It is time to enforce his defeat and claim the victory Jesus paid for you to have. Beloved, no area of your life is left out, this is your moment to possess your possession.
Colossians 2:15 (ERV) tells us again very clearly that the devil has been defeated; “He defeated the rulers and powers of the spiritual world. With the cross he won the victory over them and led them away as defeated and powerless prisoners for the whole world to see.” What is that lie that the devil is telling you, that accusation he is bringing against you, that limit he is placing on your life, he has no right, no authority to do so. Get ready to shut him up, enforce his defeat, and claim your victory. Poverty is not your portion, barrenness is not your portion, sickness is not your portion, therefore stop tolerating these things and putting up with them, you are called to live an abundant and glorious life (John 10:10).
Beloved, you don’t even have to wait till October 1, with these scriptures, begin to shut the devil up, wherever you are seeing his operations, open up your mouth and exercise your God-given dominion. Declare an end to the maneuvers and operations of the enemy, and I believe God with you that you shall surely testify. Long-standing issues will receive solutions. Doors shall be opened unto you. From the very first day of October, you will possess your possessions in the name of Jesus.
